Assassin's Creed is Coming Out With A Movie?!

An upcoming movie based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series will star Oscar-nominated actor Michael Fassbender will hit the theaters on December 21, 2016.
The Assassin’s Creed movie was delayed from its original August 2015 release date to production issues.
Fassbender will be playing the lead role and directed by Justin Kurzel who also directed Macbeth
Fassbender said last year that the Assassin’s Creed film will be respectful to the game. While saying that, Fassbender also said, “we also want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own vision of things that already exist in the game.”
Ubisoft has six different movies in the works in addition to movies based off Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon. In all of these projects Ubisoft retains creative control of the films.
