Lizard Squad Ruined Christmas

A group called Lizard Squad is taking responsibility for the attacks on both Xbox Live and PSN that were results of overloading the networks with traffic. Though, this does not comprise your personal information, it’s pretty inconvenient.

Their Twitter profile @LizardPatrol has been suspended as seen in the picture below.

PlayStation network has brought continued updates for their users via Twitter and has announced that they are running smoothly on Sunday

“PlayStation Network is back online. As you probably know, PlayStation Network and some other gaming services were attacked over the holidays with artificially high levels of traffic designed to disrupt connectivity and online gameplay. This may have prevented your access to the network and its services over the last few days. Thanks again for your support and patience. We’ll provide any further updates here."
